Day One:

Check in Heathrow Terminal 4

Day Two:

Capture the spirit of Africa on one of our unique Kenyan SafarisHand in Visa application; carry on through immigration then collect luggage and clear customs. Met in the arrivals hall by "Game Watchers" our ground handling staff, please look out for your name on a board being held up by the driver.


Transfer to your Nairobi Hotel, The Norfolk Hotel for Check in.
After check in why not visit Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage situated at the Nairobi National Park, where you can watch the elephants playing and feeding with their keepers. Lunch at the Norfolk hotel at the famous long terrace restaurant, then onto the City Market for shopping. Back to the Norfolk Hotel for dinner & your overnight stay.

08:00 – 09:00 Breakfast at the Norfolk and check out. Collected from the Norfolk by the camp manager, who will be driving you in a 4-wheel drive Toyota Landcruiser to Eselenkei, staying at Porini Camp 2 night’s approx. Approximately 3hrs drive away.

Porini Camp – Eselenkei

Porini Camp at Eselenkei is a remote conservation area a few miles North of Amboseli National Park. Porini comprises of 50sq. Miles of wilderness well off the beaten track, with only one private campsite holding 4 spacious, cleverly designed luxury tents. The accommodation is all en suite and is comfortably furnished with 2 double-bedded beds in each tent. As this is a private Conservation area the number of visitors is restricted to 8 per day, so the wild and unspoiled nature of the area is retained, and you will be in the unique position of experiencing the African bush without the intrusion of other visitors.


Exterior look to the tent13:00pm Lunch at the camp then rest up, followed by Afternoon tea and a game drive.
16:00pm Game drive ending up with a sundowner on Olosinkiran Hill
19:00pm Return to camp, night drive on the way, shower and change for bush dinner.
20:00pm Drinks around campfire, followed by an evening meal
22:00pm Retire for the evening ready for your early morning wake up call.


Day four:

Meetings with the national people
06:00am Wake up called courtesy of the "Crested Franklin’s"
06:30amBreakfast, full English bush breakfast to set you up for the day
07:30amGame drive through Eselenskei, via Masai Villages and onto Amboseli National Park
13:00pmBush Lunch on the way back to camp reaching Porini around 15:00pm
16:30pmMaasai trackers escort you along the Selengei "lugger" (dried out riverbed) for game viewing and tracking on foot, giving you an insight into the Maasai way of life. Followed by Sundown’s at a suitable watering hole.
19:30pmDinner at the Camp followed by drinks round the campfire.
21:00pmNight game drive using spotlights to try and locate some of the nocturnal animals returning to camp around 23:00 Overnight at Porini Camp. Kitchwa Tembo – Masai Mara

15:00pmNairobi – Masai Mara arriving 15:45 approx. AirKenya Transfer to Kitchwa Tembo

Nestling below the Oloololo Escarpment in the luxurious tented camp of Kitchwa Tembo. 45 twin bedded safari tents all with en suite facilities. The camp overlooks the plains of the Masai Mara, with a beautifully appointed swimming pool and dinning area.

The Masai Mara is probably one of Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuaries some 695 square miles in all. Famous for the spectacular annual migration and it’s immense variety of wildlife.

16:00pmAfternoon game drive.
18:00pmRelax on the veranda of your tent before dinner is served.
19:00pm Drinks served around the open campfire followed by dinner retire for the evening.

Early evening game drive returning for drinks around an open fire. Day six:

06:00amEarly morning Tea & biscuits followed by the game drive.
09:30amReturn for full English breakfast, relax by the pool, or pick up some post cards or shopping at the lodge shop.
13:00pmLunch followed by an early evening game drive returning for drinks around an open fire.
19:00pmTime to change for dinner, usually followed by an early night!

6:00amEarly morning Tea & biscuits then another game drive, followed by breakfast.
13:00pmTransfer to Malindi Airport for your Air Kenya flight to Wilson Airport - Nairobi, transfer to the Norfolk Hotel "Day room" for the opportunity to shower, change, & an early supper before departing for the airport for the British Airways flight to London.
19:00pmTransfer to the Airport
22:25pm Departing flight - Night flight arriving into Heathrow airport the following day.

Tour cost subject to availability is on request. It includes the International flights, all the transfers as mentioned, the internal flights to the Masai Mara, all accommodation full board in the camps, bed & breakfast at the Norfolk transfers to the lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant (lunch paid for locally)
