Grenada, the Spice Island of the Caribbean, lies at the southernmost tip of the Windward Isles. The picturesque white sandy beaches, lapped by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and the gentle pace of life make it an ideal location for a relaxing tropical holiday.

Development on Grenada is governed by strict planning laws, one of which decrees that no building shall be higher than the tallest palm tree - so no 'high rise' hotels here!! There is plenty of opportunity for water sports, including scuba diving and snorkelling and there is a nine hole golf course close to St Georges.

It is possible to take take a tour of island to include both natural delights and some of the islands history. The spice plantations, nutmeg factories, and rum distilleries conjure the past vividly Be careful though, the over-proof rum, sold at the distilleries, is VERY powerful!!
